Artists Proof Collector Prints Information

When I am checking the colour and quality of my giclee prints for signing I receive proof prints.

 

Traditionally, an Artist's Proof remained the property of the artist. In modern times they are sold at the same time as open edition prints.

 

All my Artist's Proofs are signed, titled, dated and have the mark A/P. There is only 1 Artist's Proof for any of my paintings.

 

An Hahnemühle German Etching (310gsm) - A premium fine art paper with a velvety surface perfect for archival quality reproductions.

 

A heavy-duty artists paper with a slightly more textured finish than standard. The velvety matte surface is optimised for high-contrast prints and works brilliantly for proof printing. The paper has a warm white hue providing a perfect surface for reproducing paintings.
