About me and my Artwork
I specialise in original landscape paintings of Scotland and further afield.
My artwork is available in many Scottish outlets, including the official Historic Scotland gift shops in Edinburgh, Stirling and Urquhart Castle. Also available in Eilean Donan Castle, The Whisky Castle, Edinburgh Airport, The Ballachulish Visitors Centre, Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, Castle Stalker, The Auchrannie Hotel amongst many Scottish independent outlets.
I have exhibited in many Scottish, London and Toronto art galleries and now I am sending my Scottish art worldwide with fast and affordable prices.

Having studied Interior Design in Glasgow for 4 years, my background hopefully adds an interesting dimension to the artworks. I achieved national design awards during my studies and after graduating worked in the field of film & theatre set design, a picture framer and an art gallery manager. Eventually, I found myself interested solely in painting. The contemporary artworks vary from representational to atmospheric impressionistic (sometimes abstract) paintings and prints depicting Scotland’s landscapes and beyond. I paint using a few different mediums: Acrylics, oils, ink and pen. The combination of these seem to give a lovely shimmer/glimmer to the paintings. You can see this effect over on my YouTube video channel. Every painting is then sealed under a specialist artist's varnish which helps to bring out the vibrancy in the colours. I also like to use just a good old fashioned pencil at times.
I was born in 1972 and have been painting almost every day since the age of 14. Selling paintings since 1997 and took the step to become a full-time artist in 2011.
